Planning
Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is responsible for land use planning efforts on approximately 1.9 million acres of public land within the Monument's boundaries in south central Utah. The planning area also includes an additional 200,000 acres of public land that falls within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

In addition to the current Rangeland Health Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Plan Amendment work, other environmental documents are developed by the Monument under the guidance of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

The Environmental Notification Bulletin Board (ENBB) is a searchable list of proposals under consideration by the Utah Bureau of Land Management (BLM) that provides a brief description of proposed actions and identifies potentially affected or involved resources or values that are of interest to the public.

Information on proposals under consideration by Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument can be found on the Environmental Document Bulletin Board (ENBB). For information on how to search the ENBB click here.
