Transportation Security Officer Luis Camacho, San Antonio International Airport, showed that a TSA employee's honor and integrity is not simply a sound bite, but a reality.
As Camacho walked through the terminal recently, he noticed a wallet lying near a concessionaire area. Inside the wallet were 43 $100 and three $20 bills, totaling $4,360.
Unable to locate the owner, he contacted his supervisor who had the owner paged. Turns out he was a local contractor who had just been paid and was waiting for a family member.
"I am extremely proud of Luis for his honesty and doing the right thing," said Screening Manager Veronica Atuelo. "Knowing the great team of officers at San Antonio, I did not expect anything less."
