Late last year, Transportation Security Officer Christine Dina proposed leveraging the TSA workforce in support of military personnel who pass through Chicago O'Hare's United Service Organization. The USO had been looking for ways to assist troops with the 3-1-1 rules on liquids and gels.

Dina decided to collect and bag toiletries that fit the 3 ounce rule, and set up a box in Terminal 3 where employees have donated hundreds of items for distribution through the USO.

"I just felt like we needed to do something to support the men and women who are serving our country," Dina said of the on-going project.
