Assigned to the Missouri Division of Corrections in July 1980, VISTA member Rose T. Evans, 69, counsels inmate Linda Jack at Renz Correctional Center in Cedar City. Evans, a retired school teacher, recruits and trains community volunteers and inmates to provide activities in music, dance, sewing, crafts, cosmetology, and correspondence for the prisoners.
