Purpose: Serve as the nominated U.S. representative on the IAEA's advisory panel on the safe and secure transport of radioactive material. The committee meets semi-annually and is responsible for reviewing and revising the regulations and policies governing the international transport of radioactive material and providing guidance to the IAEA on the needs and issues of the transport industry.
