Also administers an Emergency Assistance Fund that provides a one-time only emergency payment to landlords for rent payments, deposits, utilities, etc.

Verizon Phone Company Lifeline Program Phone: 643-3456 (V)	Provides a discount for low income, elderly and persons with disabilities interstate subscriber line. To qualify, customers must present a doctor's letter regarding their disability and also some form of proof of income. Call for an application or apply in person at any Verizon Phone Mart.
