Office of Civilian Personnel (CG-121)

The roles of the Office of Civilian Personnel include:

  1. Developing strategic plan/goals for civilian HR policy.
  2. Providing HR support and services to Coast Guard commands and employees.
  3. Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of programs and systems and Coast Guard’s delivery of same.
  4. Design, implement and communicate improvements based on the results.
  5. Communicate senior leadership’s philosophy of civilian HR issues to Coast Guard work force.
  6. Analyze and effectively communicate workforce concerns/issues to senior leadership.
