The SCRA is the greatest single statutory source of civil-law protections for American military members and their families. The Act's substantive and procedural reach is impressive, covering everything from mandatory interest caps on consumer loans to deployed individuals, to protections for military renters and their families, to the right of servicemembers to stay civil litigation brought against them during deployment. This soft-cover edition of the Guide should be on the reference shelf of every lawyer and paralegal whose civil practice focuses on the interests of servicemembers. |
