South Carolina Client Assistance Program (CAP)

Helps citizens of the state by acting as advocates regarding services provided by the Vocational Rehabilitation Department (VR), Commission for the Blind and all Independent Living programs and projects funded under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

South Carolina Protection & Advocacy for People with Disabilities

Works to protect the legal, civil and human rights of people with disabilities in South Carolina by enabling individuals to advocate for themselves, speaking on their behalf when they have been discriminated against or denied a service to which they are entitled and promoting policies and services which respect their choices.

Southeast ADA Center (DBTAC)

This Disability & Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) provides training, information and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and accessible information technology (IT) to people in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) - Savannah Local Office

Enforces federal laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), that prohibit job discrimination. The Savannah District Office has jurisdiction over the State of South Carolina Counties of Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown, Hampton, Jasper and Williamsburg.
