H1N1 Flu Update May 5, 2009
The H1N1 virus ("swine flu") is thought to spread in the same way as other flu viruses. They spread mainly from person to person through coughing or sneezing by people who have the flu virus.
What you can do for yourself, your family and the community?
  • Wash your hands with soap and water.
  • Try to avoid close contact with people showing flu-like symptoms.
  • If you get sick with the flu, stay home and limit contact with others.
