This is a Notice of Correction to the Native Language Preservation and Maintenance Program Announcement, HHS-2007-ACF-ANA-NL-0016, published to the ACF Grant Opportunities webpage on February 16, 2007. The application procedures are hereby modified.

Summary:

The Administration for Native Americans (ANA), within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), announces the availability of Fiscal Year (FY) 2007 funds for new community-based activities under ANA's Native Language program. Financial assistance is provided using a competitive process in accordance with the Native American Programs Act of 1974, as amended.

Modification to the published announcement:

Please delete the following under Section II. Award Information in Priority Area 2:

Length of Project Periods:      12-month project and budget period

Please replace the deleted language under Section II. Award Information in Priority Area 2 with the following:

Length of Project Periods:      12-month project and budget period
                                           24-months with two 12-month budget periods

Applicants may apply for either a 12-month project and budget period or a 24-month project period with two 12-month budget periods.

All information in this notice of correction is accurate and replaces information specified in the February 16, 2007 Program Announcement.
