| Project Description | Objectives of the project are (1) to determine the uptake of total mercury, methyl mercury, |
| arsenic, cadmium, chromium, and lead by aquatic invertebrates, and transfer of metals to |
| insectivorous birds at Plow Shop and Grove ponds, (2) to determine if mercury and other trace |
| metals are being transferred from Plow Shop and Grove ponds to downstream locations, and (3) |
| determine the chronology of metal deposition to the sediments of the two lakes. |
