H1N1 - National Call of EDEN Delegates

EDEN delegates were invited to participate in a conference  call to address the H1N1 influenza outbreak. On Friday, May 1, 20 delegates representing 16 states and USDA/CSREES discussed the current status of H1N1 in their state.

Pistachio Recall Due to Salmonella

The pistachio recall, which began in March, was triggered when an industrial customer, Kraft Foods, had detected Salmonella in its product.

The Extension Disaster Education Network (EDEN) links Extension educators from across the U.S. and various disciplines, enabling them to use and share resources to reduce the impact of disasters.

The EDEN website receives support from the Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture under CSREES/USDA Agreements No. 2005-37620-15609 and 2004-37620-14644.
