U.S. Marshals Track and Arrest Accused Murderer

COLUMBIA, SC- Thomas Outing was arrested without incident in Philadelphia, PA just after 11:00 this morning. Outing was the subject of a Lexington County warrant for murder. He was booked into a local jail awaiting extradition proceedings. Lexington County Investigators and Deputy Marshals in Columbia tracked Outing to Philadelphia early last week and provided that information to Deputy Marshals in Philadelphia.

Established in 1789, the United States Marshals Service is the nation’s oldest federal law enforcement agency. Last year, Marshals Service task forces like South Carolina's Operation Intercept apprehended over 109,000 felony fugitives nationwide. More information about the Marshals and other South Carolina fugitives can be found on the web at www.usmarshals.gov.
