U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrest 'Catch Me if
You Can' Con Man Samuel Nickolas was Arrested on a Federal Arrest Warrant for Impersonating a Medical Doctor |
Cincinnati, OH - On 02/06/09 at approximately 7:10 am, the Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), arrested Samuel Nickolas (DOB 05/25/59)
at his residence located on Carolina Trace Road in Harrison, Ohio. Nickolas
is wanted by the U.S. Marshals for a Supervised Release Violation that took
place in January 2009. Nickolas has an extensive criminal history involving
frauds including impersonating a Medical Doctor, Airline Pilot, and Federal
Agent. After following numerous leads, SOFAST developed information Nickolas was residing on Carolina Trace Road in Harrison, Ohio. When the task force deputies entered the residence, Nickolas put his hands behind his back and said “You got me”. Nickolas is being detained at the Federal Courthouse in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he is awaiting a court hearing today at 1:30 pm. SOFAST is a multi-jurisdictional task force comprised of the U.S. Marshals, Cincinnati Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Lockland Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, Warren Co. Prosecutors Office, U.S. Department of Agriculture OIG, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Ohio Adult Parole Authority.
