This limited-edition cover—only 40,000 will be produced—is the ninth in the American Presidency $1 Coin Cover Series. The coin cover features two William Henry Harrison $1 Coins, one each from the United States Mint facilities at Philadelphia and Denver, from the first day of production from that facility—January 8, 2009 (Philadelphia), and January 5, 2009 (Denver).
The obverse design of the half-dollar features a 1963 portrait of President John F. Kennedy by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Gilroy Roberts. The reverse design, by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Frank Gasparro, depicts a heraldic eagle with shield, reminiscent of the presidential seal. These coins are available in two-roll sets (20 coins per roll) and 200-coin bags.
For circulating $1 coins you want to spend or use in your business operations, we offer the circulating $1 coin rolls through the Circulating $1 Coin Direct Ship Program where you can buy up to 500 $1 coins at face value and receive free standard shipping and handling.
