Employee Assistance Program

Overview

This program is in the HR Workforce Quality Division, M-14, in the Departmental Office of Human Resource Management.  The Employee Assistance Program is a no-cost counseling service that is available for managers, employees and your families, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  The counselors are licensed professionals that can provide you with confidential short–term counseling, information, support groups, management consultations, and referrals for ongoing care. You can reach the Employee Assistance Program anytime by calling 1-800-222-0364. DOT on-site counseling appointments are available but must be made by calling 1-800-222-0364.

The Employee Assistance Program is dedicated in helping you resolve a wide variety of situations that may occur in your life.  In addition to counseling employees and mangers on an individual basis, the Employee Assistance Program sends out quarterly newsletters and provides comprehensive solutions to meet occupational health needs as well as build a productive and safe federal workplace.
