Public-Private Partnership Opportunity in Publication Sales/Publishing Services
GPOs Information Dissemination releases Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking Private Sector Involvement.

GPO is seeking innovative relationships with the private sector to create new business models for its Sales Program. While improving the order and fulfillment processes for the Sales Program, GPO would also like to employ the same best business practices and processes to improve service to FDLP partners, International Exchange Service (IES) libraries, and By-Law recipients.

With this outsourcing endeavor, GPO wishes to increase public awareness of its products, enhance customer access for broader dissemination of Government information, expand distribution channels, create new derivative products, utilize advanced technologies for the sale, production, and distribution of tangible and electronic products to the public, expand publishing service offerings to Federal agencies, and modernize the selection and distribution processes of tangible information products to depository libraries, IES libraries, and By-Law recipients. GPO hopes to achieve these goals using mutually beneficial performance-based revenue sharing models and fee-based service offerings.
