GPO is at the epicenter of technological change embracing an historic mission while looking to the digital future. For 144 years, the GPO has produced and distributed Federal Government information products. Our mission of Keeping America Informed ensures the public's right to access government information. Currently, the GPO captures, stores, authenticates, produces, and disseminates information from Congress and other Federal publishers for the public to access directly and through the Federal Depository Library Program.
