Faces of Trade

Expanding market opportunities for small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) through the U.S.-Colombia FTA can help local economies.  SMEs’s help generate local economic growth and are critical to local communities across America.  Of the more than 9,000 U.S. companies that export to Colombia, 8,000 are SMEs. There are more than 7,300 exporting SME’s in Colombia, and most of the goods they produce are exported to the United States and the Andean community.  Expanding market access for SMEs in both countries will support job growth in local communities. Behind the FTA are the hopes and dreams of millions of families and entrepreneurs who have chosen dedicated work as the tool to shape their futures and those of their communities.  These are the real faces of trade
