About OPCD
NHI is now part of the Office of Professional and Corporate Development (OPCD). OPCD supports FHWA in the pursuit of its organizational excellence goals and agency mission to deliver the national highway program with greater effectiveness and efficiency in program development, delivery, and management. OPCD is uniquely positioned to accomplish these goals.

The activities of OPCD are distributed among several components that support the department's mission and goals by continuing to improve the knowledge and capabilities of the transportation workforce.
