Related research activities are being conducted around the world. USDOT is supporting development of a tool to help researchers track and communicate about related research initiatives. In the interim, a preliminary library of related research is available in the IntelliDriveSM web site.
While IntelliDriveSM focuses on safety and mobility applications requiring wireless communications, In-vehicle Based Safety Systems research focuses on autonomous safety systems on vehicles.
