Center for Travel and Transportation Policy Formulation

The Center for Travel and Transportation Policy Formulation performs the following activities:

• Formulates and defines governmentwide policy for travel and employee relocation allowances and entitlements, and the transportation of things (including mail)
• Provides policy consultation and advisory assistance pertaining to travel and transportation issues
• Coordinates approvals/disapprovals for regulatory waiver requests to travel and transportation regulations
• Maintains liaison with executive agencies, state and local governments, public and private organizations, and non-federal organizations on plans and policies for travel and transportation programs
• Reviews and evaluates management policies and objectives relative to travel and transportation programs, including mail management
• Collaborates with stakeholders through governmentwide interagency committees
