THROUGH 1430Z APRIL 11, 2009
An area of light haze is over Oklahoma and Kansas. This is likely remnant smoke from the previous days fires. Further north, an area of denser haze covers southern Manitoba(Canada), Minnesota, Wisconsin and northeastern Iowa. This area is moving to the southeast and is also likely to be the remnant smoke from yesterdays' fires. In the western Gulf of Mexico, an area of smoke is seen from numerous agricultural fires in the region that has lifted north into the Bay of Campeche. This smoke area thins out further north as it approaches the lower Texas coast. -Salemi THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED.
