Highway Safety Improvement Program Final Rule (23 CFR 924)
On December 24, 2008, the final rule to revise the regulations for the Highway Safety Improvement Program (23 CFR 924) was published in the Federal Register and will become effective on January 23, 2009. This regulation was revised to incorporate changes to the HSIP that resulted from the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users, as well as other changes that have evolved since the initial regulation.
