Antioch University Santa Barbara will match up to $5,000 in partnership with the Segal Education Scholarship for service as an AmeriCorps graduate.

The first institution of higher education to admit women, people of color, and Native Americans on an equal basis starting in 1852. The founding President, Horace Mann, started the first public schools in this country. His proclamation “Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity” is the cornerstone of the Antioch experience.
