Princeton University places significant value on civic engagement. In recognition of the volunteer service provided through the AmeriCorps program, the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University will waive the normal application fee for AmeriCorps alumni in recognition of academic potential, involvement in community activities, and leadership. In addition, if admitted to the Wilson School, the University will often supplement the education award to fully cover the tuition and fees of any AmeriCorps alumna admitted as a full-time student (an approximate value of $34,050 per year at current rates).
