Welcome to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Resources and Tools for health professionals. Here you will find many valuable materials that will assist you in promoting the fruit and vegetable message.

Resources for the Consumer
Consumer brochures are available in our Publications section.

Educational Materials - The Explore the World with Fruits and Vegetables campaign provides fun ideas for nutrition and education professionals to encourage schoolchildren and their parents to eat more fruits and vegetables by exploring new tastes provided by cuisines from around the world.

The Food Safety section provides information on fruit and vegetable food safety and updates on current food safety related issues.

Fruit and vegetable graphics are available through the Body & Soul image library, as well as USDA's Agricultural Research Service photo library.

Nutrition Policy Resources are available through CDC's Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity (DNPAO), including a database of  summaries of state legislative bills related to nutrition and physical activity from 2001 to present.

Nutrition resources for health professionals are also available through CDC's DNPA, as well as other nutrition topics.
