Ohio Responds maintains a pool of volunteers who can be quickly and efficiently mobilized to respond in the event of an emergency. Activities change with each disaster, and can vary from sandbagging to answering telephones. Volunteers can also be referred to other response agencies. Everyone can help.

The Disaster is here,
my community's broken,
the help I can give,
is only a token.

To help out my neighbors,
and help them get through,
I'm a member of CERT,
and that's what I do.
