Early Childhood Iowa
Early Childhood Iowa is a confederation or alliance of stakeholders in Early Care, Health and Education systems that affect children age 0 to 5 in the state of Iowa. Its purpose is to support the development and integration of an Early Care, Health and Education system for Iowa.

Early Childhood Iowa Council
The purpose the Council is to be a catalyst in the development of Iowa's comprehensive, integrated Early Care, Health and Education system. The Council was formerly known as the ECI Stakeholders; however, due to new legislation that passed last year putting ECI into code, the group is now a Council. The next ECI Council meeting is Tuesday May 12th from 9:00 a.m. - Noon at the Des Moines Botanical Center. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to jhodges@idph.state.ia.us.
