A training video is now available for NCES' new IPEDS Data Center.
The IPEDS Data Center is a "one-stop-shop" for retrieving IPEDS data. It replaces the Peer Analysis System (PAS) and Dataset Cutting Tool (DCT), but maintains all of the functionality of those tools. It also has new features to improve users' experiences and serves as an entry point to the Executive Peer Tool (ExPT) and IPEDS Data Analysis System (DAS).

Although the Human Resources (HR) survey will close to Keyholders after Jan. 21, the Enrollment (EF) and Finance (F) surveys will remain open continuously through the period between the winter and spring collections, and (of course) during the spring collection.
As a result of the recent passage of Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, NCES will make changes to the IPEDS data collection for 2008-09, to comply with the legislated mandate to display these items on College Navigator by August 2009.
