California Real-Time Ground-Water Well NetworkThe U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) real-time ground-water network for California currently consists of 56 wells in which ground-water levels are continuously monitored and are available to the public for viewing changing conditions. Information is transmitted from the sites on either a 1-hour or 4-hour basis and is then made available on the National Water Information System (NWIS) web page. These sites are operated by the California Water Science Center along with funding from several other government agencies. California Water-Level Monitoring Sites
