Program Description
The Henderson County MRC is a group of locally recruited and trained volunteers who are willing to step in and help out the citizens of Henderson County during emergency situations by providing their skills and expertise. The Henderson County MRC is made up of both medical and non medical volunteers and was developed to serve the community as a Public Health Emergency Response Team. The Henderson County MRC will supplement the existing emergency response systems in place in times of man-made disasters and/or natural disasters. The Henderson County MRC will also help out the Healthcare and Emergency Management infrastructure by providing care and support in the event of an emergency.
