Program Description
The Wood County MRC will function as a core group of volunteers trained to assist the County during times of emergencies and disasters. We utilize both medical and non-medical volunteers to work with local healthcare, public health and first responders to supplement existing resources and respond as needed. Our mission is to provide our county of 42,000 with the resources needed to assist in mass vaccination/dispensing clinics, assistance in emergency sheltering, and other public health needs. Our volunteer base will include licensed professionals and non-medical individuals who are willing to share their expertise in response to community needs.
