Program Description
The Fort Bend County Medical Reserve Corps was formed May 01, 2007 to serve the residents of Fort Bend County. Our mission is to supplement the existing Public Health infrastructure in the county and to provide outreach to people throughout the community with volunteers who want to help their neighbors. Fort Bend MRC volunteers will work with the County Health Department to staff public health facilities during disasters and emergencies. Ft. Bend MRC volunteers will also provide outreach to underserved communities and those with barriers to public health services.
