Purpose
Characterize tidal currents and wave energy over the course of a winter season
near Possession Pt, on the west side of Possession Sound, and Browns Bay, on
the east side of Possession Sound. This work is part of a larger study
comparing physical and biological attributes of the nearshore region at the two
sites.
Information to be Derived
Time series of current speed and direction, wave height and direction, wave
velocities, salinity, temperature, and depth. Grain size of bed sediments.
Notes
