$2,500 Reward for Information Concerning Series of Armed Robberies


St. Paul, Minnesota - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Minneapolis Police Department have announced a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for a series of armed robberies. These robberies occurred in the 3rd precinct in the area bordered by 28th St and 38th St and between Cedar and 35W. Each of the robberies occurred after dark over the last several weeks. In each case the victim was walking between a home and a vehicle. The suspects are described as 2 or 3 young black males often wearing dark masks and/or hats and gloves armed with a short-barreled shotgun or rifle. The victims were threatened with the weapon and the suspects robbed them of various personal items.

The investigating agencies are requesting assistance from the general public.
