ATF Recruits Forensic Auditors

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Audit Services Division (ASD) is currently offering employment opportunities for qualified individuals as Forensic Auditors. An ATF Forensic Auditor is responsible for conducting assigned forensic audits in criminal and regulatory investigations and inspections. Auditors also provide forensic financial investigative services to federal, state and local law enforcement officials, as well as to members of associated industries. ATF's audit professionals expertly apply the latest technical and scientific audit methods to a broad range of programs, in order to help reduce violent crime, collect the revenue, protect the public, and maintain the integrity of internal operations.

Interested applicants must hold a degree in accounting, auditing or a related field, which includes substantial course work in accounting and/or auditing. Employment experience in this area is not mandatory. The salary for this permanent, full-time position ranges from $23,442 - $79,410 per year.
