Q : How can I review and correct my information that you have?

Individuals can review and correct their personal information both through participation in E Verify and through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).  If an individual receives a Tentative Non-Confirmation (TNC) from E Verify because the information submitted does not match the information in SSA and DHS databases, as applicable, the TNC letter refers the individual is to the appropriate government agency to review and correct their information.

If an individual wants to request general access to their information, they may submit a written Privacy Act request to USCIS, clearly marked “Privacy Act Request” and mailing it to the following address: National Records Center FOIA/PA Office P.O. Box 648010 Lee’s Summit, MO 64064-8010. If an individual has an Alien Registration Number, they must provide it along with full name, date and place of birth, and return address.  If an individual does not have an Alien Registration Number, they must provide their full name, date and place of birth, and return address.
