Q : What do I do if I believe my information has not been handled or used appropriately?

E-Verify recognizes the importance of protecting individuals participating in the employment verification process from harm and has designated Verification officials to protect the individual’s privacy, by ensuring your information in collected, used, and disclosed in an authorized manner; and to protect against fraud and misuse of the E-Verify system.  If you believe that your personal information has been collected, used, or disclosed inappropriately during the employment verification process, please contact E-Verify Customer Support at (888) 464-4218 or email us at E-VERIFY@dhs.gov to register your concern.  Further information on E-Verify privacy practices are located in the "Related Links" section of the E-Verify Q&A main page.
