PURPOSE.
To inform the proprietors specified below that there will be a change in the ATF technical services office handling their areas.

SCOPE.
Persons operating as wholesalers or importers of distilled spirits, wine and/or malt beverages in the states of Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

BACKGROUND.
This change is part of an overall plan to combine five technical services offices into one office, the National Revenue Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. This consolidation will reduce ATF costs while at the same time improve the efficiency of our operations so that we can continue to provide a high level of service to businesses and individuals whose operations are regulated by our Bureau.

CHANGE IN PROCEDURE AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
Beginning on October 1, 1998, all applications, correspondence and any other documents which you previously filed with the technical services office in San Francisco should be filed with the National Revenue Center. The address, telephone number and fax number of this office are:
