IS-120 An Orientation to Community Disaster Exercises will be retired on or around January 15, 2008. The new IS 120.A An Introduction to Exercises will be available on or around January 15, 2008. The current course has been extensively revised and will include a new test.

Course Overview

This independent study course includes a 1/2" VHS videocassette and a student manual that provides an orientation to the types of exercises used to test and evaluate a community's emergency plan. The content illustrates the eight basic steps in exercise design and emphasizes the use of a design team to ensure the success of a community's exercise program.

Completion of this course is a prerequisite to participation in the State-delivered G-120 Exercise Design Course.
