01420 SURVEY WORKER (Interviewer)
Interviews people to obtain information on topics such as public issues
or consumer buying habits. Contacts people at home or place of business or
by telephone following specified sampling procedures, or approaches them
at random on street. Asks questions relative to items on form or
questionnaire, records answers, and assists persons in filling out forms.
May review, sort, classify and file forms according to specified
procedures and criteria. May participate in Federal, state or local census
surveys.
