ARMY

Primex Technologies, St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded a $9,941,000 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAA09-98-C-0086, for 50,000 artillery propelling charges (155 mm M4A2) for Israel. Work will be performed in Marion, Ill., and is expected to be completed by April 3, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 14, 1998. The U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

RC Construction Co. Inc.*, Greenwood, Miss., is being awarded a $5,442,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a medical warehouse facility. The project consists of construction of a consolidated, humidity controlled warehouse including: administrative offices, latrines, storage areas; a receiving, staging and shipping area; medical maintenance area, and a vault for controlled substances. Exterior site development is to include utilities, a 150 ton air conditioning unit, electric service, paving, walks, curb and gutters, storm drainage, security fencing, lighting and landscaping. Work will be performed at Ft. Bragg, N.C., and is expected to be completed by April 9, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 129 bids solicited on Jan. 2, 1999, and eight bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Ga., is the contracting activity (DACA21-99-C-0037).

AIR FORCE

PGSUS Limited Liability Company, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $100,521,548 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, F08626-97-C-0125-P00007, to provide for 40 AGM-142C Have Nap standoff attack missiles, 60 AGM-142D missiles, four AGM-142C and four AGM-142D Captive Air Training Missiles, one Dummy Air Training Missile, ten Data Link Pods, 20 aircraft integration kits, 26 aircraft pylons, and associated test equipment, data, and technical materials. This effort supports foreign military sales to the Republic of Korea, which is providing the funding to support this effort.

AIR FORCE

There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Delivery of the hardware is expected to begin not later than 24 months after the definitization of the contract. Performance of the aircraft integration effort is expected to begin approximately 12 months prior to delivery of hardware. Solicitation issue date was July 23, 1999. Definitization date is scheduled for May 14, 2000. Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity.

GTE Government Systems Corp., El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $237,107,478 modification to a firm-fixed-price-requirements contract, F09603-91-D-0999-P00020, to provide for FY2000 contractor logistics support for the AN/GYQ-21(V) Intelligence Data Handling System. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2000. Solicitation issue date was July 17, 1990. Negotiation completion date was Aug. 14, 1991. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity.

Arcata Associates, Inc., Las Vegas, Nev., is being awarded a $5,461,353 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract, F26600-95-C0033-P00083, to provide for FY2000 technical engineering support services for the Nevada Test and Training Range, Nevada. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2000. Solicitation issue date was Feb. 1, 1995. Range Management Office, Nellis AFB, Nev., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

ADEC Inc., Newberg, Ore., is being awarded a $6,000,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for dental systems. Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 16, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-98-D-8721).

Dental-EZ Group, Bay Minette, Ala., is being awarded a $6,000,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for dental systems. Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 16, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-98-D-8722).

Amoco Energy Trading Corporation, Newport Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $19,258,466 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for direct supply natural gas. Four hundred eighty-one proposals were solicited and six were received. Work will be performed in California and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-7522).

Four hundred eighty-one proposals were solicited and six were received. Work will be performed in Killeen, Texas; Fort Worth, Texas; Wichita Falls, Texas; San Angelo, Texas; Abilene, Texas; Panama City, Fla.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Denver, Colo.; Golden, Colo., and Grand Junction, Colo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-7525).
