Overview

Plant Polymer (PPL) develops new technologies that increase commercial opportunities based on the starches and proteins found in agricultural commodities.  This research team has created new markets for agricultural products and created new knowledge and technologies that we are further developing with partners and collaborators (plywood adhesives, starch graft copolymers, electroactive materials, zein fibers).  Learn more about PPL research projects here.
