Urban Wheat Field Busts Through Concrete in New York City

Wheat partakes in an amazing journey from the time its seed is planted until its appearance on your plate, and even then the path continues.  Once it is consumed, wheat energizes the body, delivering essential nutrients to its cells.  We told wheat’s farm-to-fork story by bringing a live wheat field to New York City during The Urban Wheat Field Experience in the beginning of October, and we continue to educate people about the life cycle of America’s most-consumed grain through our Web site.

Click here to experience wheat’s farm-to-fork journey through educational materials and videos, images and blogs from the Urban Wheat Field.
