NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $1,844,400,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0136 to exercise an option for FY 98 low rate initial production (LRIP III) of 14 F/A-18E and 16 F/A-18F aircraft and associated hardware. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $201,001,621modification to previously awarded contract N00019-98-C-0114 to convert the advance acquisition contract for the FY 99 production year procurement of 15 T-45C Goshawk aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Advanced Systems Technology, Inc.,* Lawton, Okla., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, time and material, indefinite-quantity contract not to exceed $40,000,000. This contract will provide logistics, engineering, contracting and administrative support services for the U. S. Army's Simulation Training and Instrumentation Command. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla. (70%), and various Army installations across the United States (30%) and is expected to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $50,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured electronically under a small business set aside with 14 offers received and three contract awards. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61339-99-D-0003).

Ceridian Corp., Computing Devices International, Bloomington, Minn., is being awarded a $9,087,420 firm-fixed-price delivery order under an existing requirements contract for the procurement of 60 AN/AYK-14(V) standard airborne computers in support of the F/A-18E/F aircraft program. Work will be performed in Bloomington, Minn., and is expected to be

completed by March 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00163-96-D-0014).

Griffin Services, Inc.,* Atlanta, Ga., is being awarded a $8,026,637 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract for support services for the multi-function facilities at Naval Station, Ingleside, Texas. The work to be performed provides for, but is not limited to, all operations, maintenance, repair, minor construction and alteration services for facilities, grounds and utility systems, vehicles, craft and equipment. The total contract amount is not to exceed $64,236,908. Work will be performed in Ingleside, Texas, and is expected to be completed by February 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 63 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62467-97-D-1080).

ARMY

Mason Technologies Inc.*, Gulf Port, Miss., was awarded on Feb. 12, 1999, a $10,805,446 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for renovation of Building 9101, Phase II, Mississippi Army Ammunition Plant for tenant Boeing North American. Work will be performed in Gulf Port, Miss., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 17, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-92-E-0008).

Alaska Mechanical Inc., Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a $13,275,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of two new 1,590 cubic meter (10.0 K barrel) above-ground, welded-steel jet fuel (JP-8) storage tanks with impervious dikes and internal floating pans. Contractor will also install 2,900 m of 350 mm nominal diameter (DN 350) single wall stainless steel pipe and 15 38L/s below grade, aircraft fueling hydrant outlets to provide connection to the existing DN 250 issue pipe; a 152 L/s POL pump house/operations building; a truck fill stand, and site improvements. Work will be performed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 15, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 67 bids solicited on Jan. 4, 1999, and nine bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Anchorage, Alaska (DACA85-99-C-0009).

American Ordnance LLC, Lexington, Ky., is being awarded a $25,157,675 delivery order amount as part of a firm-fixed-price contract for load assemble and pack (LAP) of the M107 155 mm project. Work will be performed at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Middletown, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 1, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-98-G-0011).

PRIMEX Technologies Inc., St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded a $31,299,999 firm-fixed-price contract for production of advanced tungsten 120 mm, armor piercing, fin stabilized, discarding sabot tank cartridges on behalf of the country of Egypt. Work will be performed in Red Lion, Pa., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 3, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. (DAAE30-99-C-1049).

C O R R E C T I O N

The Feb. 12, 1999 announcement of Contract DASG60-98-D-0077 being awarded to CAS Inc., Huntsville, Ala., listed an incorrect completion date. The date should have been June 3, 2004.

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Training Systems, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded $15,174,948 face value increase to a firm fixed-price contract to provide for one weapon system trainer, associated spares and data in support of the C-17 aircraft. The work is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2002. At this time, all of the funds have been obligated. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-98-D-2030, P0002).

Honeywell, Inc. Military Avionics Division, Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded a $7,928,000 face value increase to a firm fixed-price contract to provide for 123 imbedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System units and associate warranties in support of the Army AH-64 helicopter. The last scheduled contract delivery date is Jan. 31, 2001. At this time, all of the funds have been obligated. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-93-C-0002, P00165).

Lockheed Martin Command and Control Systems, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $6,195,120 face value increase to a firm fixed-price contract to provide commercial, off-the-shelf software in support of the Theater Battle Management Core Systems Version 1.0 fielding. This effort is scheduled to be completed by September 30. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-95-C-0143, P00207).
