During National Homeownership Month, we celebrate homeownership and encourage more Americans to consider the benefits of owning their own home. Nearly 70 percent of Americans enjoy the satisfaction of owning their own home but there is still work to be done to make sure homeownership is accessible to everyone. At homeownership fairs and other events planned throughout June, representatives from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will meet with prospective homebuyers and provide them with information to determine if homeownership is right for them. They will also discuss the role homeownership plays in helping families build wealth and strengthen their communities. Check out the Housing section at Pueblo.gsa.gov to read or purchase additional information on home buying, selling, financing, and maintenance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A SPECIAL FREE OFFER FOR FEDINFO SUBSCRIBERS FCIC is the help desk for everyday life--and we'd like to help you!
