Fire Weather Forecasts
The National Weather Service office in Indianapolis issues fire weather forecasts for central Indiana. During the fire weather seasons of February 15 - April 30 and October 1 - December 15, narrative forecasts are issued at 4:00 AM and 4:00 PM Eastern time. Outside of fire weather seasons, the narrative forecast is issued once per day at 4:00 AM. The operating plan (pdf) has a detailed explanation of fire weather services provided by Indianapolis.
