OverviewThe Intra-Governmental Payment and Collection (IPAC) Systems primary purpose is to provide a standardized interagency fund transfer mechanism for Federal Program Agencies (FPAs). IPAC facilitates the intra-governmental transfer of funds, with descriptive data from one FPA to another. The IPAC System contains multiple components:

Release 11.3 includes three major modifications to the IPAC application:
FMS has revised the IPAC bulk file layout in direct support of several initiatives including: (1) FMS' Governmentwide Accounting Modernization Project (GWA) and (2) Central Transformation Team Efforts to Improve Intragovernmental Reporting. These layout changes include validations of the DUNS, DUNS+4 and the DODAAC fields only when values are entered. A new bulk file layout has been added for Sender Initiated Adjustments. Release 2.2 of the IPAC bulk file layout was implemented on April 11, 2009. Release 2.1 of the IPAC bulk file layout is no longer available for use. The RITS bulk file format has not changed. IPAC Bulk File Layout Release 2.2 - April 11, 2009Tutorial The tutorial has been revised for Release 11.3. The tutorials are self-paced, interactive training modules designed to introduce the user to navigating through the graphical user interface screens. Training Environment A Training Environment is set up for agencies so they can become acquainted with the user interface by navigating through screens and performing regular transactions. This will give agencies an important opportunity to familiarize themselves with the look-and-feel of IPAC.
